The Arrival Van was developed from the ground up to be the most user and eco-friendly commercial vehicle on the market. Built in micro-factories with short supply chains from low-carbon materials and processes the unique body materials are highly recyclable. Exterior lighting innovations included the rear light cluster being usable on both the left and right of the vehicle as well as on the Arrival bus. The headlight was designed to be multi-vehicle and multi-regulatory in that it passed both ECE and SAE regulations with the same headlight design. The interior lighting was designed with shift worker performance in mind featuring integrated low-glare optics and lighting design exceeding the light levels required by the most demanding of customers. Careful attention was also applied to minimizing BOM cost and carbon footprint. Intelligent RGB illumination optics for the digital mirrors and smart touchpoint controls were also developed from concept to serial production.
